Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation is excited to partner with the Town of Castle Rock to offer exclusive, small-group previews of the 681-acre Lost Canyon Ranch Open Space—before it opens to the public.
These limited-size events are designed with conservation in mind, while giving you a first look at this unique landscape. It’s home to Douglas Fir and Ponderosa forests, Willow Creek, and high plains grasslands. Rich with both ancient history and stories of the open West, Lost Canyon Ranch is one of Castle Rock’s most remarkable natural spaces.
Your participation supports future trails and amenities—so as you explore, you’re also helping expand open space for the entire community.
NOTE: No public access to Lost Canyon Ranch Open Space. Entry is only available with an authorized guide.

Our guides will lead you along peaceful route with amazing views, long local history, and insight into the future trail system your ticket helps support. Choose a date below. Each hike will be roughly the same program.
